Maintenance Technician
2nd Shift (3 pm - 11:30 pm)

We are the only company manufacturing blow molding, injection molding and large-scale thermoforming products dedicated to the nursery industry.

The Shift Maintenance Mechanic provides equipment support for production of plastic nursery containers by repairing and maintaining plastic blow molding machines, ink printing machines, and thermo forming machines.  

  • Works with production crew to maintain and repair plastic blow molding, ink printing, and thermo forming machines. 
  • Assists the maintenance department and takes direction from the Production Crew Supervisor and Maintenance Manager by completing assigned work orders.
  • Works on the production floor to ensure equipment is running smoothly to meet production goals. 
  • Proactively inspects and repairs the production equipment to keep it running efficiently.
  • Works with the maintenance and production departments to troubleshoot and solve equipment issues. 
  • Completes proper paperwork on machine down time related to maintenance or processing and meets with the shift mechanic at the end of each shift to provide a status report.  
  • Follows necessary safety protocols and procedures as established by Nursery Supplies. 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.  
  • Strong Electrical skills are a must.   
  • Ability to lift 25 to 60 pounds.  
  • Knowledge of and ability to read electrical and hydraulic prints. 
  • Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
  • Good communication skills, including verbal and written.
  • Ability to communicate using basic English; bilingual a plus.  
  • Highly motivated with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.  
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.  
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
